Version 4.3 (June 21, 2010): Updated the Wii Shop Channel to force updating. (October 21, 2009): Added the ability to download "One Free Title" if the Internet Channel was previously purchased. Added code to the Wii Menu to delete the Homebrew Channel on every boot, but only for ID HAXX, so the Homebrew Channel simply changed their ID to JODI. Installed stubs into various slots used by homebrew IOSes. Attempted to fix Bannerbomb, another homebrew exploit. Changed Wii Menu IOS slot to prevent downgrading. Non-Korean Wii Menu now refuses to boot if it detects that it is running on a Korean console (shown as error 003). ![]() Updated boot2 to overwrite hacked versions, although the installation of this update prevented some consoles from booting, the cause of which was never found. Version 4.2 (September 30, 2009): Updated Wii Shop Channel to force people to update. Version 4.1 (July 15, 2009): Fixed a bug where loading a game using the SD Card Menu would force Wii Sports Resort to show the Wii Motion Plus demo video again. Stubbed the last remaining IOS that did not have the latest fixes, as well as the IOS used by Wii Menu 3.4. Fixed new privilege escalation bug in all IOSes. Rephrased warning about unauthorized modifications. Updated several titles (including Wii Menu, Photo Channel, and Wii Shop Channel) to use an IOS that supports SDHC. ![]() Channels can now be downloaded directly to SD card. Version 4.0 (March 25, 2009): Added SD Card Menu, which allows channels to easily be copied to system memory to be played, and automatically deleted afterward. Made a copy of an older IOS into slot 254, in an attempt to overwrite a homebrew-related IOS that uses that slot, although this failed. Fixed the privilege escalation bugs in the two IOSes that did not already have it fixed. Switched to a new Wii Menu IOS, stubbing the old one. Second attempt to fix the Twilight Hack (also failed). Unknown enhancements to parental controls. Version 3.4 (November 17, 2008): Added USB keyboard support to the Mii Channel. Fixed two privilege escalation bugs in those IOSes. Fixed signature checking bug in almost all IOSes that had it unfixed. Replaced unused IOSes with stub versions. (October 23, 2008): Made a minor enhancement to the Wii Shop Channel. (July 22, 2008): Behind-the-scenes update to the Photo Channel. Updated MIOS to block the Tweezer Attack which was used to extract the Wii's encryption keys. Fixed the signature checking bug in the IOS used by the Wii Menu, as well as the IOS used by most of the system channels, and BC. Attempted to fix the Twilight Hack exploit used by homebrew. Version 3.3 (June 16, 2008): Added the ability to move a Mii from the Mii Plaza to the Mii Parade. (March 22, 2008): Released a new unused IOS with the signature checking bug fixed. (March 20, 2008): Added WiiWare support to the Wii Shop Channel. Version 3.2 (February 25, 2008): Added the ability for the disc slot to glow if new WiiConnect24 data was recieved while playing a game. (December 10, 2007): Added a "gifting" function to the Wii Shop Channel and added the internal title for Photo Channel 1.1. Version 3.1 (October 10, 2007): Updated the Wii Shop Channel and added keyboard support to the Internet Channel and Wii Menu.
